Architecture Advisory · Talks · Collaborations

Your architecture, reviewed every month by someone who builds it.

Calls and reviews for AI, cloud, hybrid, automation and developer platforms: every month, every quarter, once a year or on demand. For vendors and events: talks with live demos, joint talks and explainer videos.

Why a subscription

Architecture decisions don't wait for the next workshop.

A workshop gives you a plan. Then the real questions arrive: a new model on Amazon Bedrock, an OpenShift upgrade, a platform team that wants a second opinion by Friday. Setting up a new project for each question takes longer than the decision itself.

A subscription fixes the time, the reply time and the price in advance. You know when you get an answer and what it costs. I know how much time to keep free for you.

You pay for reserved time in my calendar and a reply time you can plan with.
What you get

Working documents, not a slide deck.

Every call and review ends with something your team can use the next morning.

Decisions

Decisions written down

Larger decisions end as a short Architecture Decision Record: options, trade-offs, the choice. Your team can still read why in a year.

Risks

A ranked findings list

Reviews rate every finding by risk, cost and effort. You fix the expensive problems first, not the loudest ones.

People

A team that keeps up

Design reviews and internal talks bring your engineers along. The knowledge stays in your company.

What a review covers

Five areas, one reviewer across all of them.

Many reviews stop at one vendor's boundary. Your workloads don't, so the review doesn't either.

1

AI and GenAI

Model and provider choice, guardrails, evaluation, cost per request, and what data your agents and RAG pipelines can reach.

2

Cloud on AWS

Account structure, IAM, networking, resilience and cost, checked against the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

3

Hybrid

Which workloads belong on OpenShift or on-prem, where the data lives, and what that means for latency, cost and operations.

4

Automation

Infrastructure as code coverage, CI/CD pipelines, configuration drift and the manual steps nobody wrote down.

5

Developer platforms

Golden paths, self-service, onboarding time and platform maturity against the CNCF Platform Engineering Maturity Model.

Each review ends with a findings list rated by risk, cost and effort, a 90-day action plan and a readout with the people who decide.
How it works

From first call to a fixed rhythm.

No long onboarding. The first useful result comes in the first month.

Step 1

Idea Call, 30 minutes

We look at your architecture, the open decisions and how often you need a second pair of eyes. Free.

Step 2

First review

I start with the area that carries the most risk. You get the findings list and a plan.

Step 3

Your rhythm

Monthly, quarterly, once or twice a year, or on demand. Calls, written answers and reviews on a schedule that fits.

How often

Every month, every quarter, or when you need it.

Pick the rhythm that matches how fast your architecture changes. You can move between options when your situation changes.

For vendors & events

Your technology, shown on a real architecture.

Architects and developers trust a working demo more than a product slide. I build the demo on an architecture I would run myself, explain the trade-offs in plain language, and take the hard questions from the room.

On stage

Where I speak

AWS re:Invent 2024 and 2025, AWS Community Days across Europe, Cloud Native Days Austria 2026.

In the community

What I organise

The AWS User Group Vienna and AWS Community Day DACH.
